Purpose of AFDD-2-1 • Discusses • Establish operational doctrine for air warfare • Beliefs and principles that guide the organization, command and control, employment, and support of air forces conducting wartime operations • Examines relationships between objectives, forces, environments, and actions • Focuses on the planning, C2, and execution of air warfare “A handbook for the JFACC / JAOC”
