Virtual Learning Environment VLE • Arising from the TAFE 21C report • position TAFE NSW at the forefront of e-learning provision • achieve national and state objectives for e-learning service delivery • maximisethe use and value of the investment in learning resources and infrastructure • opportunities for flexibility in teaching and learning • Managed by TAFE eLearning Systems (TeLS)

VLE implementation Project • In June 2010 funding was provided to institute to support the implementation, uptake and effective utilisation of the TAFE NSW Virtual Learning Environment • Sydney Institute focus :- • Providing infrastructure for staff to access equipment to develop resources and to develop their capabilities for the VLE • Developing quality resources for staff and students to ensure brand identity and templates for ease of use • Ensuring our staff has capability to provide greater flexibility in the delivery of services and products.
