  2. Creating my Device My idea is called the lawn water saver. It is called that because the water comes down from the gutter and comes out of the device to feed the lawn.

  3. Knowing How to Make the Device My idea is a lawn water saving device which will feeds the lawn with water when it rains. It attaches to the gutter and gets all the rain and it goes onto the garden or lawn area. The Materials Used were: • Plastic pipes • Glue • Drill (for holes) The Steps: • Buy the plastic pipes • Cut them into three different lengths • Make angles to fit. • Drill holes in the “run off” areas

  4. Understanding how it Works • Fit the pipes together. • Connect to the drain pipe. • Place the bottom pipe on the grass edge. • When it rains, the water comes out. • Instead of hosing the lawn all the time, the lawn water saver catches the rain and comes in the gutter and goes into the device.
