  6. Different Medical Labs • Cadaver Lab • Halloween? Sometime that week because they don’t have exams • Suture Lab – looking at November? • Vitals Lab – still waiting on word • Blood pressures, etc. • Working on an EKG lab with Dr. Walls.

Other Events • MCAT Practice • Kaplan help session • Community Service Day • Various schools coming to talk – so far Marian’s DO school, American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine for sure • Medical Student Panel?? • Multiple Purdue graduates that are attending medical school give advice.

  9. Club Dues • Club dues are $10, which pays for both semesters • Please turn in your dues today, or at another meeting. • When you sign up please fill out the excel document with your name, year of college, and email address.

  10. Attendance • To stay a member of the club each member has to attend at least one meeting per month. • At each meeting we will have a sign in list • Members that also attend the most events will receive a gift at the end of the year

  13. Costa Rica/Panama • 14 day trip • Dec 28-Jan 10 • First week urban clinics • Second week is Hike for Humanity • 14 students in our group • Approximate cost $3,000 (without grants and fundraising taken into account)

  14. Nicaragua • 7 day trip • December 15-22 • 5 days in clinics • Shadowing, physical therapy, health talks at schools, work in clinics, take vitals • 1 beach/hiking day • Approximate cost: $1800
