  1. Binyamin Rothstein Treat the Whole Patient Binyamin Rothstein is a Master Osteopath who says that when he first encountered osteopathy as an undergraduate student, it was a revelation to him. He committed himself to the discipline, and graduated from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in 1981. As a licensed osteopath he focuses on prevention and treating the whole patient, rather than just symptoms. He was an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and looking at the different options before him in his planned career in medicine, when he first heard about osteopathy, a medical discipline that emphasizes a whole-body approach to the patient. “I ran across a small ad from an Osteopath in Baltimore,” he recalls. “I went to visit him and watch him work.

The cause of CFS is often unknown, but some medical doctors believe it could stem from viral infections or psychological stress. “The most critical issue in treating chronic fatigue,” says Dr. Rothstein, “is finding the cause.
