  2. Working Life is … • Work-life is the practice of providing initiatives designed to create a more flexible, supportive work environment, enabling employees to focus on work tasks while at work.

  3. Working Life is… • “Work-life effectiveness is a specific set of organizational practices, policies, programs and a philosophy that recommends aggressive support for the efforts of everyone who works to achieve success both at work and at home”.

  4. Working Life Before • The working life years ago was very difficult. • Workers was forced to maintain their jobs without dignity. • There was no equal pay for equal work. • Employers hasn’t the opportunity to rest and they do not receive pay for extra hours, holidays or vacations.

  5. Working Life After • Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favorable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment. • Equal pay for equal work and benefits of extra hours, holidays and vacations. Everyone has the right to rest reasonable limitation of working hours.

  6. Working Life at the Present • Working people in America have certain basic legal rights to safe, healthy and fair conditions at work. • Workers can’t be discriminated against their: • Age • Disability • Gender • Pregnancy • Race or Ethnicity • Religion • Sexual Orientation

  7. Conclusion • At the present labor movement’s pushes for guaranteed workers right and development. Now workingenvironments are more safeandfairforeveryworker.
