  4. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION • 1. Complete Pellissippi State online application • 2. Pay $20 nonrefundable application fee • 3. Complete TSAC dual enrollment grant • 4. Complete Hepatitis B form • 5. Submit transcripts and ACT/ACT PLAN scores • 6. Register for courses • 7. Pay any tuition or fees

  5. COST • $504 One 3 credit hour class • -300 TSAC Dual Enrollment Grant • -162 The Pellissippi State Scholarship • $42 One 3 hour class at a Pellissippi campus • $0 One 3 hour class at your high school • *assuming grant eligibility & PSCC scholarship

  6. Cost for 12 hours, four 3 credit hour classes • $5597 -The University of Tennessee  • 1892 -Pellissippi State  • 126 -Pellissippi State as a DE student, if taken at one of our campuses* • 0 -Pellissippi State as a DE student, if taken at high school* • *assuming grant eligibility & PSCC scholarship

  8. DUAL ENROLLMENT GRANT • TSAC Grant and (early) HOPE • 2 three-credit hour classes a semester during junior and senior years • 8 classes total • 4 TSAC • 4 HOPE

  9. GRANT ELIGIBILITY • Meet GPA and ACT requirements • Be a junior or senior • Complete online TSAC application • Select Pellissippi State on grant application • Maintain 2.75 college GPA • Be a TN resident one year prior to enrollment • Re-apply for TSAC grant each semester

  10. GEN ED REQUIREMENTS • GPA 3.0 • ACT 18 English • 19 Reading • For math and science courses: • ACT 19-26 Math depending on course

  11. TOP 5 GEN ED COURSES • English Composition • College Algebra • Elementary Probability and Statistics • General Biology • Psychology

  12. NON GEN ED REQUIREMENTS • GPA 2.0 • ACT minimum of 13's on each • sub-section

  13. TOP 5 NON GEN ED COURSES • Intro to Photography • Fundamentals of Mechanical Drawing • Beginning Bowling • College Success • Orientation to Early Childhood Education

  14. POSSIBLE CAREER TECH PROGRAMS • Performing Arts • Video Production Technology • Media Technologies • Interior Design Fundamentals • Sound Production

  15. THINGS TO BE AWARE OF • Students are treated the same as other college students • Freedom to succeed or fail • Courses become permanent college transcript
