I will work diligently to make this a successful and enjoyable class for you. I will give you opportunities to be creative and try new things, through exposure to a variety of art forms. You will have a chance to express your thoughts & feelings within the context of projects. You will take a hands-on, active approach, to learning about different artists, mediums, techniques and concepts. I have high expectations for you and your behavior as I give you opportunities to discover new ways of doing things and working with others. And along the way, it is my hope that you will discover the artist that lives within you! All Assignments are posted on the Agenda Board in the classroom and on the art website. http://ylmsart.weebly.com/ Late Work Policy: Late Homework that meets the HW standards will be accepted one day late for at least ½ credit. *Students are expected to write the weekly class work as well as any homework down in their YLMS Agenda. GRADING • Final grades will incorporate art warm-up pages, classwork, homework, quizzes, & class projects • All projects are all graded with an individual rubric • Grades will be updated at least every other week to Aeries Class Expectations
