  1. What is the basic difference between Hajj and Umrah Packages?

  2. Are you planning to pay a visit to Hajj and Umrah then this article is for you? We have enlisted the basic difference between Hajj and Umrah for you to decide where you wish to go Umrah • The Umrah is a year-round Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. Pilgrims from all over the world visit to Saudi Arabia to undertake religious rites at the holiest locations in Islam. • Hajj, the Arabic word for pilgrimage, is an annual Islamic ritual that takes place in the final month of the Islamic calendar and lasts for five or six days.

  3. Hajj is scheduled to take place this year from July 28 to August 2. • Unlike Hajj, Muslims are not required to perform Umrah, but millions of them do so every year. • Last year, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Turkey provided the majority of external pilgrims. • Saudi Arabia announced issuing 1.6 million Umrah visas and hosting 1.3 million Umrah pilgrims from early December 2019 to early December 2019.

  4. 1.2 billion Muslims live on the planet. While Saudi Arabia recently altered its male guardianship system, only women over the age of 45 are permitted to perform Umrah alone. Umrah permits are only valid for two weeks and cannot be extended past Ramadan's closing day. Before Eid al-Fitr, guests must depart. Hajj • Adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable are obligated to perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime. • During this time, pilgrims walk in the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim and his family, according to Ridwan al-Sayed, an Islamic studies professor at Beirut's Lebanese University.

  5. "The last of all Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), preached the oneness of God," Sayed told Al Arabiya English. • "In the holy city of Mecca, Ibrahim and his son Ismail erected the Kaaba. • As a result, this pillar embodies the Abrahamic faith's concept of total devotion to Allah." Hajj is seen by many pilgrims as both a physical and spiritual journey.

  6. The first day of Hajj is 8 ZilHijjah, the Islamic calendar's last month. Prior to and during Hajj, the pilgrim is required to undertake ten rites. Here are some basic Hajj steps you should be aware of: • The state of Ihram is the initial step for any pilgrim who wishes to perform Hajj. A pilgrim must say the Talabiya, an intention to do hajj, to enter the state of Ihram. When a pilgrim prepares his or her soul, mind, and body for the journey to the Almighty God, this is the time. • The stage is entered from the Miqat, or a location outside the pilgrimage area. Hajj pilgrims must follow a strict clothing code that emphasises modesty and the removal of all evidence of wealth.

  7. Women wear standard stitched clothes and a headscarf, whereas men wear unstitched white garments. The burqa or niqab, however, is prohibited for women. Final Takeaway • Pilgrims visit Mina, Arafah, and Muzdalifah, which is a distinction between Hajj and Umrah. They sacrifice the Devil and spend Eid al-Adha in Makkah (Qurbani). • Give your Zakat and Sadaqah during the wonderful days of DhulHijjah and enjoy the benefits of this blessed month. Remember to perform your Qurbani before Eid! Make sure you book Umrah Packages including flights in advance if you are planning to pay a visit anytime sooner.
