  1. Mission Statement The Ohio Special Response Team Inc. is a broad based unit able to respond to a variety of emergencies and disasters in support of civil authorities.

  2. Our Purpose • To support local, State and Federal authorities in the event of a natural and/or manmade disaster or emergencies. • To provide assistance to authorities relating to non-disaster situations and/or incidents. • To conduct training programs on subjects related to emergency situations. • To offer educational courses to the general public relating to the mission of the organization.

  3. Capabilities OSRT has the capability to respond to many different events/incidents. > Lost person rescue/recovery. > Natural disaster. > Man-made disaster. > Support authorities in other capacities.

  4. Insurances 1. Insurance – liability, medical, property, vehicles. 2. Workers’ Compensation ORC 4123.03 Employees performing special services for the State or political subdivision.
