  3. Ofsted … So what … ?! An Ofsted inspection deemed the provision of French ‘excellent’ at Nodehill Middle School in March 2005 : ‘it has been substantially under-pinned by the extensive and exciting ICT resource now available to teachers. These consist partly of commercial software but, for the most part, the packages have been devised by an extremely innovative and highly motivated member of the subject staff. As a consequence of this success there are indications that the school is becoming an exemplar for modern language learning in this age range’. Times Educational Supplement … “The most obviously impressive resources are the PowerPoint presentations Joe has designed himself, which are truly inspirational and a far cry from the death by PowerPoint we're so often warned of” (Pete Roythorne TES Jan 2006)
