  4. How Do You Get Started?

  5. Choose Your Attitude Start by choosing your attitude, this is the Key, you must have a positive attitude – because if you don’t you will not attract a positive outcome. When talking with anyone that you meet, even if you don’t know them, you have to exude confidence and a positive attitude.

  6. Be Present Be present when you converse with anyone, shut out everything else in your mind, put your cell phone down and just be present. Make the person you are talking with feel like they are the most important person on the planet for you right then and there!

  7. Make Their Day Make their day by offering a “sincere” compliment. “That’s a beautiful sweater, I love your earrings, your tie is fantastic, and on and on….” The key is to make their day. Everyone – and I really mean, Everyone – appreciates a compliment, so give them out freely and sincerely!

  8. Have Fun Have Fun! Yes, have fun! Whenever you do anything fun you do it well. There is just nothing better than fun! When entering a restaurant it’s inevitable that the Hostess at the restaurant will ask you “How Many in your Party?”…

  9. Have Fun My best one (well, in my opinion at least) is when they ask for my name…

  10. As long as you have “Set The Stage” with these 4 basic concepts it’s now time to ask the “Million Dollar Question??”

  11. The Million Dollar Question (Name), may I ask you a question? Always start by acknowledging them by their first name.

  12. If The Response Is NO If you receive a response of NO then you know you did not successfully implement the 4 basic concepts. It’s OK, you just need to practice, Practice, PRACTICE and when you think you are really good at it, practice some more!

  13. When The Response Is YES Do you know of anyone that might be interested in Buying or Selling a Home? (Keep in mind that 70% of everyone you encounter will be buying and/or selling a home, so your chances are pretty good that they are either looking or know someone that is looking to sell or buy a home.)

  14. If The Answer is No Well, please let me know if you think of anyone! You see, I have an AMAZING program where my contract is only 1 Day! So if someone doesn’t like me or if I’m not doing my job they can just FIRE Me!! Have you ever heard of a program like that?

  15. Just Listen, don’t be too eager, just listen and be present, then and only then respond to any questions they may have.

  16. Repeat Are you sure, (Name), that you don’t know of anyone that might be interested in Buying or Selling a Home?

  17. If The Answer Yes Would you mind if I sent you some FREE information about my various programs? I promise you I’m not a stalker !

  18. 1 of 2 Things Will Happen • They will ask you for your business card • They will give you their information Make sure you get as much contact information as you can: Name, Phone Number, Address and Email. If you don’t ask, then you won’t get it. Pull out your “Leads for FREE” pad and write their information down.

  19. May I Have Your Business Card? I’m sorry, I don’t have any on me right now. Do you mind if I take down all of YOUR contact information? Then I can send you all of MYcontact information, along with something to say “thank you” for your time. Would that be OK?
