  12. Describing the Arrangement of a Room • Identify room and begin from doorway. • Describe the shape • Identify furniture starting with most noticeable • Indicate it’s location in relation to room or previously mentioned objects • Work from left to right always!

Telling Where Objects Are • Identify the room-Visualize from doorway • Identify the part of the room, indicate nearest piece of furniture • Continue to narrow down the location by using classifiers, signs or pointing, ending at the specific location • Finally indicate the object's exact location usually by pointing.
