Baggrund • Z39.50 Holdings Schema Abstract Record Structure (ARS) er specificeret ved uformel tabelbeskrivelse samt som formel Tag Path. • XML forventes at blive foretrukne udvekslingsformat for Holdings data. • ZIG januar 2000 aftalte at udarbejde DTD (Joe Zeeman) samt XML Skema (Poul Henrik) baseret på Holdings Schema ARS og Tag Path Holdings XML Schema v5

Holdings XML Skema • Seneste Holdings XML Schema v5 er baseret på Z39.50 Holdings Schema v.1.1 • XML Schema v5 anvender April 2000 W3C Working Draft Schema syntax • XML Skemaet afspejler direkte Z39.50 Holdings Schema ARS. • XML elementernes navne og numre svarer til ARS og Tagnumre, eks. bibItemInfo-1 Holdings XML Schema v5
