  11. Wellness Facts When you think of “Strength” what comes to your mind? Would you be surprised to know that there are different types of strength, and how you train or work out will impact your muscular strength and or muscular endurance?

STRENGTH • Strength : the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to generate force. • Absolute strength is the Max Amount of force that can be generated during one Max Effort.  • Dynamic Strength (muscular endurance) is the ability of a muscle to contract repeatedly over time.  • Both Absolute and Dynamic Strength are needed when dealing with health related fitness…. • something to think about.

Align with bottom of name tag. • LOTC Badge: centered, ½ inch above name tag • Rank: Centered top to bottom, left to right, with the tip of the torch pointed toward the tip of the collar
