Memory Verse Challenge 2011 • 12 Passages or groups of verses over 12 months • About 12 verses per passage, About 3 verses per week • Writing of scripture with references tested during Sunday School up to 11th grade • NIV Translation • Competition between boys and girls at one of the 2011 PYPA‘s with prizes for winning team • Parent’s reward(Financially, gift, etc) their children and not the church. • Special recognition by church for our top performers at each PYPA

Memory Verse Challenge12 Passages in 12 months Jan 2011 – Lord's prayer - Matthew 6: 9-13(5 verses) Psalms 121: 1-8 (8 verses) Feb 2011 – Psalms 119: 97-108(12 verses) Mar 2011 – Proverbs 1:8; Proverbs 15:5; Colossians 3:20; Matthew 9:14; Mark 10:14; 1 Timothy 4:12; 1 Corinthians 16:13-14; Matthew 1:22; James 1:2-3; Ephesians 4:32; Romans 5:8( 13 verses) Apr 2011 – Luke 6: 27-38(12 Verses) May 2011 – Psalms 103: 1-13(13 Verses) Jun 2011 – Proverbs 3: 1-12(12 Verses) Total 1st 6 months- 75 verses in NIV
