  1. Supplemental Course Supplies for Mrs. Calhoun’s Classroom Students are excepted to bring all supplies need for class everyday. Those who do not have the necessary materials for class will find themselves falling behind, and if lack of preparation becomes a regular problem, student’s grade will be affected. All students need the following materials daily: 1. A pencil or pen 2. Assignment book (1st one is free – if lost, cost is $5.00 in the JRW office). 3. Class folders, notebook and backpacks 4. Text books and paper

  2. I do not supply paper and pencils to High School Students. You must come prepared to class that is part of your job.

  3. Mrs. Calhoun’s Classroom Rules • Show respect to others and their property. • Come to class prepared. • Arrive on time (You must be in the classroom before the bell rings). • DO NOT TALK while I am talking or when the TV is on. • DO NOT walk around my room. Come in and take your seat. • Use your time wisely.

  4. IF YOU CHOOSE TO BREAK THE CLASSROOM RULES FIRSTTIME - Given one VERBAL warning to stop the behavior SECOND TIME - Must fill out behavior sheet. If refuses student goes to next infraction. THIRD TIME - Given an after school detention. Students will be given written notice of the detention and will be responsible for their transportation. - Student sent to Control Learning Center SEVERE DISRUPTION

  5. HALL PASS PRIVILEGES Students must sign in and out of the classroom. Any student that miss uses this privilege will not be allowed to leave the classroom for the rest of the quarter. Miss use of the Hall Pass privilege include: Taking to long to run your errand. Going Everyday Not writing your first and last name on the sign out sheet. Time on Sign out sheet isn’t correct. Can’t read your handwriting on sign out sheet.

  7. Grades given Daily Grading System You can earn your points in three areas: Assignment book, Using time wisely and Daily assignments, Having Materials Can Earn 100pts. everyday

  9. Grading Scale All PASSING Grades A = 100 to 90 Excellent B = 89 to 80 Good C = 79 to 70 Average D = 69 to 60 Poor FAILING GRADE P = Passing F = 59 to 0

  10. COMPUTERS Computers are to be used for ACADEMIC purpose ONLY ! You must log on as yourself and log off every time you use the computer. When you go to Save Material you must do the following: Can’t Print in my room. You must save it and then go to the Media Center before school, after school, or during your lunch. 1. Go to File 2. Go to Save As 3. Go to Save in block at the top 4. Use the arrow to pull down the bar. 5. Go to ST_your last name

  11. You WILL LOSE COMPUTER PRIVILEGES IF YOU ARE PLAYING GAMES, MISUSE THE COMPUTER OR DISABLE THE COMPUTER!!

  12. Privileges Privileges are available to all students as long as they are working appropriately and following classroom rules. Privileges include food, drinks, use of the computer, and rewards. Privileges will be lost if students refuse to work or cause disruptions while others are working.
