  1. Welcome Back Minions!!! Sit in assigned seat with your materials. Class will begin shortly.

  2. Logging in to the textbook • Go to www.pearsonsuccessnet.com • Click “REGISTER” • Type the access code: 162D99A07F2DAA799FFE • Make up your own user ID and password. (Be sure and write it down so you do not forget it!) • Confirm password and create a hint so you won’t forget the password. (Student ID is not required!!!) • Click “REGISTER” • Log in by using your User ID and password.

  3. Your Lab Notebook • On the inside cover write your name, period, this class, and room number (428). • Also on the inside cover write your online textbook user ID and password. • The first 3 pages of your composition notebook (front and back) are reserved for your table of contents. • Activity • Date • Page number

  4. Your lab notebook • Activities: • Vocabulary words and definitions • Handout sheets (to be secured by staple or gluestick) • Labs • Projects • QUIZ/TEST review information

  6. Jobs • (Some groups will have to double up on jobs) • Leader • Scribe • Herald • Proofreader You have 10 seconds to choose…

  7. Instructions • You will write down step by step instructions for me to drink a bottled drink located in the back of the room. • After your instructions are finished, have the proofreader bring the instructions to me. • I will randomly choose a group, their herald will come up front and read their instructions. • I will follow them to the letter (as long as I do not get injured).
