  1. Spotlight on Western Australia Tours: What To Expect From Cable Beach Cable Beach is a highlight for many Western Australia tours, and it definitely should not be missed. This Kimberley beach is not just one of the best beaches in Australia, but it is also ranked in the top five beaches in the world. This makes it obvious why Cable beach is a major attraction for any Broome visitors. So, before you plan your Western Australia tour, here are just some things you can expect from this spectacular sight. The Endless White Sands The first thing you’re likely to notice about Cable Beach is the endless stretch of white sand. The beautiful sand is framed by the wonderful turquoise blue of the Indian Ocean. While the tourist industry has created a boom for Broome, it is still possible to find a secluded spot to take in this spectacular sight. Cable Beach stretches for 22 kilometres with pristine sands with edges firm enough to drive on. You don’t need to have a four wheel drive, but you can drive down to the beach, set out some camping chairs and just watch the tide come in. This makes for a mesmerizing experience as you listen to the waves and just enjoy the ambience. Tackling the Terrain At the end of Cable Beach Road, there is a parking area with information bay. This is also where many of the pubs, restaurants, and resorts are located. Although Broome can get very busy, this area is fantastic to drive around and provides access to drive Cable Beach. Cable Beach is one of the best beaches to drive, but you will need to navigate some tricky terrain. You’ll need to pick across a daunting rocky section that can test your driving skills and suspension. However, once you’ve navigated this, you’ll hit the smooth white sand. You’re not likely to be alone as many drivers take their cars on the beach to watch the sunset. However, if you do want to find a quiet area, with 22 kilometres, you just need to drive a little further until you find a secluded spot. Other Activities
