Investors in Pupils • Outcomes: • By the end of this session, you will have... • Participated in a class discussion about the Investors in Pupils Award; • Developed a vision statement as a tutor group.

  2. Investors in Pupils Let’s Remind Ourselves... What do you think are the key aims of the Investors in Pupils Project? • To help you to understand why you go to school, how your school runs and operates, and the role your school plays in your future and the school’s success. • To develop a culture where you are actively involved in decision making processes within school, so that you feel confident that your voice is heard. • To develop your role and your responsibilities within school. • To ensure you improve in the five key areas: your learning, your behaviour, your attendance, your classroom management (organisation), the way you induct new staff and pupils into your year group and your form group.

Investors in Pupils Working and Communicating Together • The Investors in Pupil Project will involve a lot of collaborative work as a form group. • Therefore, it is really important that we agree to work really well together. • What better way to start, than by creating a form vision statement...

  5. A Vision Statement A vision statement is a short formal written statement, which summarises the key aims and beliefs of a group . Everybody in the group must agree to follow the aims written in the statement.
