What is the SMF? • An investment fund endowed by the UConn Foundation managed by students • 10 Undergraduates are selected to manage an on-going fund (Initial Value was $1M) • Student managers compile their own research and make actual investment decisions School of Business Student Managed Fund Student Managed Fund

What will you Learn? • Investing, Research and Self-Driven Thinking • Required to take one-year (Fall & Spring Semester) of Valuation with Patrick Terrion • How to initiate self-driven research and learning • Making professional decisions • Learning from mistakes School of Business Student Managed Fund Student Managed Fund
