  2. Tongs • Tongs are used to pull hot foods from pots and pans. They can also be used in salads.

  3. Round Cake Pan • These cake pans are used to bake round cakes. Especially layer cakes.

  4. Double Boiler • A double boiler is often used in candy making and steaming.

  5. Rubber Scraper • Rubber scrapers come in many sizes, shapes, and colors and are used to scrape the remaining food items or batter from pans or bowls.

  6. Kitchen Thermometer • A kitchen thermometer can be used to check the temperature of many foods.

  7. Fork • This type of fork is different from your dinner fork. It is used mainly in cooking meats. Especially when cooking on the grill.

  8. Rolling Pin • A rolling pin is used to flatten out and roll out different kinds of dough.

  9. Cake/Pie Carrier • This carrier is used to transport cakes and/or pies from one place to another.

  10. Cooling Racks • These racks are used to cool food items like cakes and cookies. They allow air to flow all around the item until it is cool.

  11. Pie Plate • This dish is used to make pies in. The pie shell fits perfectly into the pan and the filling goes right on top.

  12. Strainer • This strainer is often used for juices that may contain pulps and other small straining jobs.

  13. Bottle Opener • As its name suggests, this item helps you open bottles and some types of cans.

  14. Ladle • This item is used for dishing out soups, beverages, and other liquid food items.

  15. Dry Measuring Cups • These measuring cups are used to measure dry ingredients such as, sugar, flour, and peanut butter.

  16. Straight Edge Spatula • This spatula is often used in cake decorating and as an aid in measuring dry ingredients.

  17. Carving Knife • This knife is used for carving meat dishes.

  18. Vegetable Peeler • This item is useful in peeling vegetables without having to use a knife.

  19. Skillet • This type of pan is used to fry and brown items in.

  20. Jelly Roll Pan • This pan is used for baking items like jelly rolls, doughnuts, or breads.

  21. Square Cake Pan • This cake pan is used to bake cakes in a square shape. These cakes can also be layer cakes but are commonly not.

  35. Cookie Sheet • This pan is used to bake cookies on. It is flat with no sides.

  36. Mixing Bowls • These bowls come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and materials. They are used for mixing ingredients.

  37. Kitchen Shears • These shears are used in the kitchen for cutting things like vegetables and meats. They usually come apart at the center.

  38. Liquid Measuring Cup • This measuring cup is used to measure out liquid ingredients.

  39. Knife • This is your regular, average knife. It is used to help in carving as well as for cutting of vegetables, meats, and fruits.

  40. Sauce Pot • A sauce pot is used to heat sauces or other liquids. They can range in size.

  41. Colander • A colander is used to drain liquid from pasta, fruits, vegetables, and other food items.
