  2. Vivian Martinez is currently Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services in Fowler School District, Phoenix, Arizona. AABE President

  3. AABE President Elect Alejandra Sotomayor recently retired from Tucson Unified School District. Her last assignment was middle school curriculum specialist.

  4. AABE Immediate Past President and Treasurer Eufemia Amabisca teaches at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona.

  5. AABE Vice President and So. West Representative Sal (Salvador) Gabaldon is a curriculum specialist for the Bilingual Education Department at Tucson Unified School District. Sal is also President of the Tucson Association for Bilingual Education.

  6. AABE Secretary Maria Cano is currently an elementary school teacher in the Phoenix area.

  7. State Parent Representative Sara Gonzales is the AABE Parent Liaison. She is the District Secretary for the Bilingual Education Program at Tolleson Union High School District.
