  10. Four year effect of Grip blocking • Goyt – grip blocked and infilling with vegetation naturally • Outcome – reduced amplitude of water table, water table closer to surface, so blanket bog condition will be wetter and more consistently wet with fewer drying periods. 2008 2006 2009
