  3. Environment: The learning environment which I studied is SQU especially Languages Centre and College of Science that provided curriculum for students at foundation program.

  4. Problem statement: The problem statement which I focused on is to seek and search about the quality of the curriculum of programs that provided at foundation program. Also, are the skills and knowledge that students gained from this curriculum adequate to help student to study at Instructional and Learning Technology (ILT) department?

  5. Goals and outcomes: Find out if students are prepared well to study in ILT department. Furthermore, to understand the level of their knowledge and skills that students get from that Information.

  6. Objectives: At the end of the foundation program students will be able to: • Demonstrate Logging on and off a computer network. • Identify different text formats. • use the different menus and toolbars to set up the worksheets. • Explain the difference between master slide and other slides. • Identify the purpose of a browser in accessing information on the World Wide Web (WWW) and navigate the Web.

  7. QA plan team: 1. Head of Computer Science Department at College of Science. 2. Instructors of IT. 3. students. 4. Me

  8. Standards: 1. Computer Fundamentals. 2. Basic Computer Operation and File Management. 3. Word Processing. 4. Spreadsheets 5. Presentation 6. Internet, WWW and Email.

  9. The tools that I used to investigate and flesh out the problem: As you know there are a lot or tools that use to collect or investigate any problem. In this problem I used interview with 6 instructors who are teach students that curriculum? In addition, I will made interviews with 20 students who are at first year in Instructional and Learning Technology (ILT) department who study that curriculum.

  10. The tools that I used to analyze data: I used statistical analysis to analyze and to describe the data that I collected from instructors and students. In addition I draw graphs to show the students achievements

  11. Recommendations: • 1. Increase the time for teaching IT program at foundation program. • 2. Change the curriculum of IT and make it suitable for students at foundation program and use multimedia to teach students the course. • 3. Use different strategies when teach students the IT program to be adopted with learning styles of students.

  12. Stakeholders: 1. Head of Computer Science Department at College of Science. 2. Head of ILT Department at College of Education. 3. Instructors of IT. 4. students.
