  2. Jason and the Argo[s]nauts http://www.brownblogfilms.com/animators/top-12-special-fx-movies/ http://filmsnobbery.com/retro-cinema

  3. The Plot Stemming from the famous film Jason and the Argonauts our animation looks at a different life Jason could have been living in the time of the heroes. Jason goes on a quest to get a new sandal for his bare foot, and along the way receives some help from a guy called God. The genre of this film is fantasy and by no means expresses any genuine opinion of the characters shown. As this is an animation no animals will be harmed during the production of this short film. The animation will be created using Adobe Director 11.5. The methods that will be used to produce the film will be digital paint (Adobe Director 11.5) and digital cut-out (Adobe Photoshop CS5). These methods will save time as it is easy to edit out mistakes.

  4. Audience Our target audience is for those who value parodies and have a background knowledge of Jason and the Argonauts to understand the concept of what is being portrayed. Though it is not necessary to have watched the film as the comedic elements would be enjoyable to all. 8. The Story Jason is a young man who just wants his other sandal back. So God tells him to go to Argo to visit the Sandalman where he will be given a sandal that fits his big feet. Jason confused by Gods brief appearance mistakes Argo for Argos and ends up working behind the counter. Asking people if they sell sandals.

  9. The Story God then appears to Jason and tells him that he is at the wrong place and that he should have gone to Argo. Jason then goes to the docks to hire a boat in order to travel to the island Argo. Jason appears to be in a large ship, but as the ship moves it is revealed that Jason is in a swan pedalo.

  10. The Story During Jason’s journey God helps him along by giving him some positive encouragement. 2 years later… we see Jason finally make it to Argo. And he is as red as a monkeys arse.

  11. The Story Making his way through the forest, Jason receives some more positive encouragement from the local wildlife. He then sees the long awaited sign, telling him he has finally reached his destination.

  12. The Story Jason finds Sandalmans shack to find that it is closed. Utterly hurt by this turn of events, Jason takes his mind off of things, by visiting his old friend Jack.

  13. The Story The morning after the night before Jason slowly wakes up to his new surroundings. As his vision comes into focus, Jason is surrounded by an army of skeletons.

  14. The Story A child skeleton at the front of the group then throws a dummy, which hits Jason straight in his eye and is embedded. (Queue lots of blood) In tears because of the pain he is in, Jason turns to run and out of nowhere appears a hero.
