  2. Project Overview • The students will learn about primary sources. • The students will be introduced to the Library of Congress. • The students will assess famous speeches. • The students will search for famous speeches.

  3. Web Page links • The students will be able to link to the necessary hand outs, such as the grading rubric. • The students will be able to link to the Library of Congress for research. • The students will be able to link to the power point overview on speech guidelines.

  4. Primary Sources • The students will be able to view actual images of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address from the LOC. • The students will be able to view photographs of famous government speaker from the LOC. • The students will experience audio/visual of a famous speech to assess using a rubric.

  5. Assessment • Students assessment will be based on • Oral Presentation • Critiques from video/audio of speeches • Effective use of rubric
