  2. Do You Consider This Cyberbullying? • Julie texts Mary “Did you see what the slob was wearing today? She looked so lame.” • Mary responds, “OMG, yes! How gross was that?”

  3. What About This? • Joey and Nathan worked together on a project using Nathan’s computer. After the project was completed, several days later, Joey went into Nathan’s email to retrieve a message from Rosie.

  4. And This? • Eddie, Ron, and Rebecca love playing Mine Craft after school. They log on and play against each other. Ron and Rebecca start teasing Eddie because he just “died” for the 3rd time.

  5. Think Again! • If you answered NO to any of these situations, you are wrong! ALL of these scenarios are examples of cyberbullying. • "Cyberbullying" is when a child, preteen or teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child, preteen or teen using the Internet, interactive and digital technologies or mobile phones. It has to have a minor on both sides, or at least have been instigated by a minor against another minor.
