    4. Existe la Depresin en adolescentes ? Hay solo tres dcadas de investigacin en desordenes del nimo en nios y adolescentes. En los 70 en USA se debata sobre su existencia. En Europa, en la misma poca se aceptaba el diagnstico.

    5. Depresin en la Adolescencia 1972, ( Rutter ) la depresin severa requiere de la presencia de madurez cognitiva y psicosexual. 1973 (Weinberg ) recomienda nuevos criterios para el diagnstico de la depresin en nios y adolescentes. Se establece la nocin de sentimientos disfricos en nios y la expresin de stos (disforic moods and affects)
