  2. SYNDICATED SYNDICATED is the name we have chosen to name the joint work of a group of women trade unionists of education, which began to take shape in several meetings held throughout the year 2006, in the Institute for Women in Madrid.

  3. Those in this group come from different and plural unions (STES-i, FETE-UGT and FECCOO), but we all united in the belief that together we can face together the challenges we face as women and as trade unionists education.

  6. The first governments of The Republic considered Education to be the key to achieve social transformation. Unless due attention was given to school teachers, male and female, it would be impossible to carry out the revolution in the classrooms.

  8. Within this project of citizenship education the women teachers of the Republic occupied a privileged place a model which embodied the modern, independent women. They would be responsible, to a large extent for the construction and dissemination of new civic identity, to educate their students on the values ​​of equality, freedom and solidarity, both through the transmission of content in the classroom and, especially with their personal experiences.
