  2. Big Question? • My big question is to see which ice cream will melt faster. I wanted to do this science fair because it seemed really fun and to know which ones work the best. • Will it be Blue Bunny, Private Selection, Dreyers, and Kroger Deluxe.

  3. Hypothesis • My hypothesis is that I think that Kroger Deluxe will melt faster than Private Selection, Blue Bunny, and Dreyers. I think this because if its cheaper than others it has to be worse maybe not by the taste but by how long it takes to melt.

  4. Interesting Facts • Vanilla is the most popular brand of ice cream • The first ice cream parlor in this country opened in New York City in 1776. • major ingredients in ice cream is air. • adults consume nearly one-half of all such treats. • July is National Ice Cream Month.

  5. Materials • Blue Bunny Ice Cream • Kroger Deluxe Ice Cream • Dreyers Ice Cream • Private Selection Ice Cream • Ice Cream Scoop • 4 Bowls • Stopwatch • Pencil • Note Cards • Camera

  6. My Step By Step Process • Get materials • Put ice cream in different bowls • Start stopwatch for two minutes • Write Details and take pictures • Add two more minutes to the timer and do the same as step 4, do that two times • After two minutes we change it to five minutes • We do this two times • Total time takes 16 minutes and the room was 68°F • Finally we measure how much melted and write results

  7. Observation • All ice cream melted. • Room temperature affected it same with light • I found out Kroger was barley melting. • I had a fun time watching it.

  8. Data With being the most liquid: • Blue Bunny 1st • Private Selection 2nd • Dreyers 3rd • Kroger Deluxe 4th

  9. AnalysisofData • Blue had 2 1/2 Tablespoons • Private selection had 2 Tablespoons • Dryers had 2 Tablespoons • Kroger had 1 ½ Tablespoons

  10. Conclusion • Unfortunately my hypothesis was wrong Blue Bunny came in 1st and not Kroger. Well now I now know which ice cream to get and it is cheaper =).
