Esther 7 - Mordecai Delivered • (Vs 2-6) “What is your wish, Queen Esther?”…Then Queen Esther answered, “We have been sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated.” • (Vs 7-10) “The king arose in his wrath…and they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai.” • Mordecai – Jew/Slave who was about to be murdered 2nd highest Ruler in Persia

Esther 8 – The Jews Delivered • (Vs 3-5) Then Esther spoke to the King, “…let an order be written to revoke the letters devised by Haman…which he wrote to destroy the Jews.” • (Vs 7) King Ahasuerus: “Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows, because he intended to lay hands on the Jews.” • Esther – Jew/Slave Queen who saves her people from annihilation
