Ais for avocados. Avocados are green fruit that ispicked by hand. They also make delicious guacamole.
Bis for bee. They pollinate our crops so we will be able to eat them. They also drink nectar to make honey.
Cis for crops. Crops are plants that we plant for food. They feed animals and humans.
Dis for deer. Deer are wild animals that are hunted for their meat. People also use their skin to make leather gloves.
Eis for emu. Emu are birds that cannot fly and look like ostriches. They produce oil that people use for their skin.
Fis for farmland. Farmland is usually rich in minerals and nutrients. We plant seeds in farmland so we can grow food.
Gis for goats. Goats can be milked, but do not produce very much milk. Their milk can be used to make cheese.
His for hay. Hay is prairie grass that has been cut. The hay is then givento farm animals to feed them.
Iis for incubator. In an incubator, there is heat generated and eggs are put in it. The heat acts like a nest and lets the eggs hatch into chickens.
Jis for jalapeno. Jalapeno’s are a type of pepper. They are really, really hot and spicy.
Kis for kernel. Kernels are corn seeds. They grow on the ear of corn and are taken off when someone needs to plant corn.
Lis for llama. Llamas’ are relatives of camels, except without the hump. They also spit a lot.
Mis for mulefoot hogs. Mulefoot hog meat is darker then regular pig meat. Their feet has their two toes fused into one.
Nis for nighttime. At night, farm animals are sleeping. During the night, raccoons and possum try to steal the animal’s food.
Ois for organic farming. Organic farming uses only organic materials. Organic farmers do not use pesticides to fertilize their crops.
Pis for pasteurization. Pasteurization kills the germs in our milk. If we did not pasteurize then we would probably get sick from drinking milk.
Qis for “Quack.” The animal that says this is the duck. A duck’s feathers are sometimes used for pillow stuffing.
Ris for rainfall. When it rains, people record how many inches it has rains. Then at the end of the year, all of the inches are added up for yearly rainfall.
Sis for sheep. Sheep are sheared for their wool. Their wool is then used to make clothing.
Tis for turnip. Turnips are grown in the ground and are pulled up like carrots. They were once used to make jack-o-lanterns.
Uis for USDA. They check meat that come from animals. If they did not check it, we would be sick from infected meat.
Vis for vaccine. Vaccines are medicine that are given to animals or humans. They help us so we will not catch sicknesses.
Wis for watermelon. Watermelon are juicy, and have lots of seeds. Watermelon is great for cooling down on a summer day.
Xis for xerophilic. They are types of fungus. These fungus grow in dry environments.
Yis for year. Farmers start planting seeds in the spring each year. They do not pick their crops until the fall at the end of the year.
Zis for zucchini. Zucchini are vegetables that gardeners grow. Zucchini are also used in bread.
