2. What is adopt-a-shelf? A way for students to discover and share books they might have never noticed before A way to keep the library shelves in order * A way for students to earn rewards

7. How does adopt-a-shelf works? Students request desired shelves, but Tibrarianassigns shelves shelves will be labeled with student’s name or an assigned number (or name) Students will maintain shelves for a designated period of time
8. “Adopt-A-Shelf” requirements: 1. all books are pulled near the edge of the shelf (lined up evenly) 2. All the correct books are on the shelf
9. “Adopt-a-shelf” requirements: Keep shelves neat… all books standing tall all spine labels are at the bottom – facing 0utward
10. “adopt-a-shelf” requirements: 4. Keep books in Alphabetical order by first three letters of author’s last name (return other books to the shelving cart)
11. “Adopt-a-shelf” Requirements: 5. Group same authors together 6. Series books in sequence order
12. “Adopt-a-shelf” requirements: Check the “re-shelving” cart for books that belong on assigned shelf.

14. Optional: - If shelf space is available, display recommended books or decorations
