The project • Framework: Erasmus + Programme, Key action 3 – Forward-Looking Cooperation Projects 2017 EACEA/41/2016 • Dates: Launched in January 2018 (3 years duration) • Our goal: to foster school leadership and effective networking through capacity building (self-assessment, training and sharing of best practices) within three key areas: STEM education, innovative use of ICT in teaching and digital citizenship

Self-assessment tools >>> L2C project • The identification and preparation phase should also determine the different levels of expertise of the participating schools within the different project areas • How? Adapting and redeveloping already tested self-assessment tools, within the 3 defined areas combined with an online questionnaire • Tools: • Innovative use of ICT for teaching: Future Classroom Maturity Model • Digital Citizenship: eSafety Label • STEM: STEM School Label (beta version)

What is it all about? • Increase interest in STEM • Schools evaluate themselves via an online self-assessment tool • According to criteria defining a STEM School • Identify required areas of development and provide action plan as well as resources “Guide European schools in increasing young Europeans' interest and skills in STEM subjects and to provide the schools with the necessary tools to engage their students, teachers and other actors in related activities by developing an appropriate STEM strategy.”
