  3. Our Bible text today is a structured as a Sandwich: Bread, meat, bread The way it’s supposed to be (Creation): Colossians 3:1-4 NOT the way it’s supposed to be (Fall): Colossians 3:5-11 The Way it’s supposed to be (Redemption): Colossians 3:15-17

  4. The Way it’s supposed to be (and NOT) Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

  5. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16

  23. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and • pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

  25. Reflect on… • The kingdom of God is the world the way God created it to be and intends it to be today. It is the rule of God in the hearts of people and lived out in society.

  31. “Instead of looking back at the event to prevent circumstances from converging in the same way again, we need to look forward to see the growth that we can experience from it. Passionate Life, Breen and Kallestad

  32. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

  33. This is Spiritual… The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
