  2. Цель: Создать условия для расширения поликультурного образовательного пространства школьника. Задачи: - формировать способности учащихся к личностному культурному самоопределению, расширить кругозор учащихся; -совершенствовать умения и навыки владения английским языком по данной теме по всем видам речевой деятельности: аудированию, говорению, чтению и письму; - развивать познавательный интерес учащихся на основе страноведческого материала; - воспитывать толерантность и уважение к истории и культуре другого народа; - формировать положительные эмоции и чувство успеха.

Звездный час (тема «Австралия») Оборудование: - 10 кубиков (на каждой грани кубика написаны английские буквы); - табличка со словами «Australia»; - таблички с номерами от 1 до 6 по количеству участников; - задания на карточках «Подпиши города» (4-5 штук); - карточки с заданием для проведения 3 тура (5-6 штук); - таблички с названием штатов и территорий Австралии для проведения1 тура.

  6. Ход мероприятия 1. Организационный момент. - I am glad to see you. How are you today? I hope you are fine. Today we shall play the game «The Star Hour». Our topic is «Australia». In medieval times people called this land «terra australis incognita». Today we shall have a talk about this unknown southern land. Учитель приветствует учащихся и сообщает им цель мероприятия. В игре принимают участие 7-8 человек. Для проверки и оценивания заданий выбирается жюри в составе 3-4 человек. Выполняя задания различных туров, участники игры за правильные ответы получают звездочки. Игра состоит из 5 раундов. После каждого раунда один участник выбывает, к концу игры остается один участник. Победителем игры считается тот, кто набрал больше очков — звездочек.

Now I want you to listen to the stories and show the number of the state.На доске представлены названия штатов и их номера. Участники слушают рассказы и поднимают табличку с правильным номером территории. За правильный ответ участник получает звёздочку.   12. 2 round- The next task for you is to make up long word on the topic «Australia» using the following letters. You will have 2 minutes to do the task. If you have the longest word, you will get «a star». Учащимся предлагается следующее задание: составить длинное слово из букв на кубиках. Для того, чтобы определить, какие буквы учащиеся могут использовать, учитель рассыпает кубики на столе. Для составления слова участники игры могут использовать буквы, которые расположены на верхних гранях кубиков. Время выполнения задания — 2 минуты. Затем ученики зачитывают слова. Обладатель самого длинного слова получает звездочку. Обладатель самого короткого слова выбывает из игры.

  13. 3 round I shall give you the cards. On the left side you can see some description. On the right side you can see the names of some Australian cities. Your task will be to match the stories and find the name of the town. You will have 2 minutes. Ученики выполняют задание в течении 2-3 минут, затем жюри проверяет задания и награждает звездочками участников, выполнивших задание быстро и правильно.

  17. Игра со зрителями. *What can you say about the climate in Australia? Is it dry, hot? What can you say about the deserts? (The rains may come at any time of the year and there are often long periods of drought) *What animals and birds can live in that climate? (A lyrebird, cockatoo, a buffalo, a rabbit, a dingo, a koala, a rat, an anteater, a duckbill, an emy, a kangaroo) • Во время проверки письменного задания членами жюри учитель предлагает провести игру со зрителями. Учитель демонстрирует зрителям картинки или слайды с изображением животных и птиц Австралии. Ученики должны правильно назвать животное и по-английски и по-русски. За каждый правильный ответ ученик получает один жетон. В конце игры подводятся итоги, и ученик, набравший большее количество жетонов, получает одну звезду, которую он может отдать одному из участников игры «Звездный час». Игра со зрителями. Игра со зрителями.

  18. 4 round Игра «Аукцион» • I shall give you maps and you must write down the cities of Australia. You have 2-3 minutes. Then we shall check up your task. • Участники игры получают задание на карточках : подпиши города.

  19. «Australia». 5 round *Using the word “ AUSTRALIA”, make as many words as youcan. *Учитель открывает заранее подготовленную запись слова «Australia»,за 2 минуты ученики,которые вышли в финал,составляют слова из данного слова,затем по очереди называют свои слова, выигрывает ученик,который назвал словопоследним. Подведение итогов: * So, you can see that the winner of the game is… * Now it is her «star hour». Listen to her. Thank you for the game.
