  1. Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators 2010-2011 BUDGET PRESENTATION June 18, 2010

  2. Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators Comments • The MAISA Non Grant Budget for the 2010-11 fiscal year is a status quo budget developed using current trends and historical data going back to July 1, 2007. • Commencing with the 2007-08 fiscal year, MASA assumed the fiscal agent responsibilities for MAISA. This provided a more centralized operation enhancing timeliness in vendor invoice processing and association management.

  3. Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators Comments - Continued • The Title I Grant Awards have generated indirect revenues for MAISA which have bolstered the bottom line allowing the association to fund board approved projects state wide. • The 2010-11 budget was developed without knowledge of what new Title I Grants and amounts will be awarded. Currently, the only indirect revenue MAISA can count on is from the balance of grant funds left to expense through October 2010.
