  3. ATTENTION SENIORS! • The representative from Josten's will be here to take Cap and Gown orders on Thursday, November 7th during all lunch periods. • Please complete the order form that was in the packet that you received in homeroom last week. • All seniors must order a Cap and Gown.  • Also, if you are interested in ordering additional Graduation accessories (graduation announcements, name cards etc.(refer to the packet), you can also order them at this time using the same order form. Note:There is a $50.00 deposit required when ordering the additional accessories.

  4. OC Eagle Eye • The next OC Eagle Eye meeting will be on Tuesday, November 5th, after school in the lecture hall. • We will assign articles and discuss future plans for the paper. • New members are always welcome. • See Mr. Finnegan in room 205 for more information on Tuesday's meeting.

  5. Attention Current NHS Members There will be a brief meeting today at 2:45 in the Lecture Hall We will be discussing the new member induction ceremony

  7. Sci – Fi Club • Attention all who are in the Science Fiction or Fantasy Club, or those who wish to join • There will be a Harry Potter inspired meeting on Wednesday, November 6th. • All are welcome to come. Accio!

  8. Attention all Forensics Students: Please check your email for information on scheduling practices. See Mr. MacDonald if you have and questions.

  9. MAPS • Attention MAPS Students • There will be a meeting Wednesday, November 6th directly after school in the Study Area. • Please bring any and all service ideas and we will be discussing upcoming events • See Mallory, Stephanie, or Ms. Spang if you cannot attend.

  10. Prom Club • The next prom club meeting will be held immediately after school on Wednesday, November 6th in room 211. • We will be discussing the theme for the 2014 prom. • Hope to see you there!!

  12. Field Hockey News Congratulationsto Natalie Frost and Gracie Daigle for being honored as WPIAL All-Stars. Extra congratulations to Natalie Frost who was selected to the WPIAL All-Start Team.

  13. Italian club-  please see Ms. Hudock in 209 to pick up your tshirts!

  14. Oakland Catholic presents “Girl Rising.” A movie about nine remarkable women in developing countries and the power of education to create a better future for women in all parts of the world. The movie will be shown on Friday, November 8th in the JOA theatre after school. • Tickets will be sold in the cafeteria for 5$ beginning today during lunch. • All of the money made from ticket sales will be donated to CARE, a nonprofit organization supported by the Girl Rising Project. • Please show your support and buy a ticket today! If you have any questions please see Mrs. Kasunic in Room 208.

  15. Submitto Forté • Are you an ARTIST? Are you a photographer, a poet, a doodler, an author, a dancer, a painter? • Then submit your art, whatever it may be, to FORTE, OC’s Art and Literary Magazine • Drop off submissions in Room 208 or send scanned or video submissions to oaklandcatholicforte@gmail.com • Our theme this year is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE • Deadline for Submissions is November 15th

  16. Attention seniors:  There is an extension on the deadline to submit your baby photos.   • They are due by November 25th. • Please follow the instructions in your email for submitting them online  • See Mrs. Haslett or Mrs. Flynn with any questions.
