  3. Programme Structure and Requirements • Level • Award • Credits 60 Level I 60 Level H • Ordinary Degree 1 year BSc Industrial Placement (32 Weeks) 6 months • Level H BSc (Hons) 6 months 60 Level H

  4. Industrial placement Exceptionally students can opt to do a 12 month placements. The following diagrams show the time line for different top up structures with and without a placement and for different durations of placement S1 = semester 1 S2= semester 2 T = teaching PL = placement Proj = project GO = general option Normal with Placement

  5. Top-Up Awards Ordinary Degree Computing Science The student can choose 7 Computing options 3 must be at level I and 4 must be at level H Computer Science Assuming students have studied CE00527-2 Further Object Oriented Programming or CE00314-2 Further Programming Concepts in C++ as part of their HND

  6. Top-Up Awards Ordinary Degree Software Engineering Assuming students have studied CE00314-2 Further Programming Concepts in C++ as part of their HND • * if done in the HND then choose a level I Computing Option Forensic Computing Assuming students have studied CE00384-2 Data Recovery, Tracing & Evidence Gathering in Computer Systems as part of their HND

  7. Top-Up Awards Ordinary Degree Computer Games Programming Assuming students have studied CE00377-2 Computer Graphics in their HND Network Computing Assuming students have studied CE00127-2 LAN Switching and WAN Networks as part of their HND.

  8. Top-Up Awards Ordinary Degree Multimedia Computing Assuming students have studied media for the web at HND otherwise do it for the Computing Option Level I If the students have studied Web Media Programming at HND then choose a level I computing option Web Development Assuming students have studied media for the web at HND and web media programming The students must study 3 award options at level I and 3 award options at level H. The Computing Option at level H could swap with an award option in block 3 • OR

  9. Honours Degree Top up

  10.
