Introduction • Sonohysterography is the scan used to create and capture the images of uterus lining with the help of sound waves. • This test helps in lining of uterus by a thin tube through cervix and is done by a gynaecologist in Ob-gyn (obstetrician-gynecologist) lab. • This test takes maximum of 30 minutes and is not painful.

  3. Reasons to perform the scan • Clot formation and blockage in blood flow • Congenital malformation • Tumor formation • Blood flow in polyps • Growth of fibroids and polyps • Lining problem in uterus • To examine the Scar tissues inside the uterus • To visualize the shape of uterus
