CCRC’08 All 3 Polish sites participated in the recent CCRC’08 • Joining in was quite painful • problems appeared in previously tested areas, due to high load • Finally all problems were overcome • many days of quiet running • Lot of lessons learnt • …but such was the purpose of this exercise! Pledges and reality • Cracow and Warsaw had some problems to install all pledged resources on April 1st • … even though they were purchased long before! • Main problems were insufficient electrical power • For CCRC’08 almost all pledged resources were used • … by pushing away other users… • Cracow has now installed all necessary CPUs and most of the disks, the rest should be ready within days • In Warsaw the solution to problems has been found recently, but the installation will take a few weeks more TAB Karlsruhe: T2PL Status Report

Conclusions • Polish Tier-2 Federation is ready for the first LHC data and eagerly awaits them! • All 3 sites participated successfully in CCRC’08 • It was a very useful lesson! • There was some delay in installing some 2008 resources, but everything should be completed very soon • Inadequate disk/CPU ratio for ATLAS and ALICE will be corrected early in 2009, and of course in pledges too • We are very indebted to GridKa staff for all the help we are given!
