  2. Application Essay • What would be a good topic for your personal statement? • Read over the handout on the application essay • Answer the questions on the attached page in your small group • We will be sharing your potential openings for the essay in our whole group

The High School Profile • What would you tell freshmen at your school about the college planning process? • Read the handout on the school profile • We will be completing our own profiles – begin by listing appropriate information on the back of the handout • We will be turning this profile in on Edmodo no later than Friday 10/10 (it will be the first grade on Q2) • See the rubric for grading information

College Interviews • Let’s read the handout on College Interviews together • Create a list of questions that you would want to ask an interviewer – brainstorm with your group • Create a list of questions that you think an interviewer would ask you during an interview – brainstorm with your group • In pairs interview one another by asking some of the questions your group has created. How does it make you feel to be “on the spot” in this way?

  5. Campus Visits • What do you want to see on your campus visits?
