  1. A typical day in primeau’s class… 10/11/12 RUN FOR YOUR LIFE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE THE CHANCE. I mean it… BY: KATELYN AR-FREAKING-NETT

  2. WHY A POWERPOINT… UGHHHH Since Mr. Primeau wanted us to get more of the “meat and potatoes” in our scribe notes, I decided the best way to do that is a powerpoint! Not everyone’s favorite idea… But hey. I just follow the rules around here. So LISTEN UP and PAY ATTENTION.

  3. AS THE CLASS BEGAN… • Typical “WHAT’S UP PEOPLE.” Doesn’t surprise me. • Erin wasn’t there and Mr. Primeau said it was because “maybe Erin is tired of being made fun of…” *ANDY PEREZ COUGH COUGH* • When Roxana wasn’t there as well, Primeau screamed “ROXXXXXYYYYY!” Which once again, DOES NOT surprise me. • Alex’s scribe notes… BRAVO. I don’t think many people can play two characters at once.

  4. THE LEARNING STUFF. • Primeau went over the new guidelines for the second set of scribe notes. If you were unable to get a rubric, be sure to get one. • Project your voice more in your scribe notes. Primeau really encouraged that, so don’t be afraid to do it. • Really try to get the “meat and potatoes” in your scribe notes. Yes, the funny moments in class really feel the most notable, but remember the point of the assignment. • ADD MORE HYPERLINKS. ‘Nuff said. • Primeau checked Dr. Seminar #3 and Dr. Seminar #4. If you didn’t finish those, finish them now. They are crucial to your success in reading The Crucible.

  5. YAY FOR MORE LEARNING. • After all was said and done with that, we were told to take the district Benchmark Assessment. This will affect your grade, so do your best! • If you did not finish, don’t stress! You will have more time to work on and finish it today. • When/if you finished your Benchmark Assessment, you were to work on Writer’s Notebook #12. • Don’t forget that Act VI of the Crucible needs to be read by Monday! COME PREPARED FOR DISCUSSION.

  6. SO LET’S RECAP…

  7. Q1: What assignment did Mr. Primeau check for completion?

  8. A1: Dr. Seminar #3 and Dr. Seminar #4.

  9. Q2: What were the three major elements we were told to improve in our scribe notes?

  10. A2: • Projecting your voice • Add only the “meat and potatoes” • Add more hyperlinks

  11. Q3: What is the name of the assessment we were required to take?

  12. A3: District Benchmark Assessment.

  13. Q4: When should you be done reading Act VI of the Crucible?

  14. A4: BY MONDAY AS YOU WALK INTO CLASS.

  15. Q5: Who is the big bully who’s scribe notes accused Erin of being a heartless racist?

  16. A5: ANDREW PEREZ.

  17. YAY. We are done. • I hope got a good recap of the class we had yesterday! See Mr. Primeau if you need any worksheets or more information on any of this material. • HAVE A GREAT DAY, and good luck to the next scribe (seriously…). 
