The Geospatial Centroid is a resource and research center at Colorado State University established to provide students, faculty, and the greater community with information about GIS at CSU and to offer opportunities, services, and resources related to geospatial sciences. centroid: (n) 1. the center of gravity or mathematically exact center of an irregularly shaped polygon. 2. The virtual center of geospatial technologies and activities at Colorado State University.
