  2. When electrically charged particles move into the magnetic fields, in the upper atmosphere where they collide with gas atoms and give off beautiful lights in the sky at night. What are Auroras?

  3. Sun spots and solar winds What conditions cause Auroras?

  4. They can last up to seconds Or they can be on and off for days but you will never see them in the daytime because they don’t show up. How long does an Aurora last?

  5. March and September when the earth is in orbit. When do Auroras happen? This is a picture of a aurora over a volcano.

  6. No because they are just lights that form in the sky They don’t give off any harmful rays or gases. Is an Aurora dangerous to people, property, etc?
