  3. Response Capabilities • 11 POD sites What is a POD Phone Bank Command Center Teleconferencing Mobile Clinic for vaccinations (available Summer of 2013) EMS Distribute Vaccinations MRC

  4. Funding Sources • What have the grants provided in the way of equipment. • Trainings and Excercises for preparation is required for deliverables Grants CRI Risk Based

  5. History of GCERC

Purpose • 2004 – bring collaborative group together, started by GCHD • Fire, Law Enforcement, Faith Based, Social Services, Schools, etc. • To Accomplish – to share information on Public Health issues, and each entities emergency response plans. • Built working relationships between the various community stakeholders that have an interest in protecting the health and safety of Galveston County residents.
