CONCLUSIONS • Bipolar air ionization provides a simple and cost effective odor control solution • Added value includes corrosion control, health and safety advantages • Recommendation: Do not allow simplicity of concept to be misinterpreted as lack of need for thoughtful system design and engineering. • Total costs - capital plus O&M are less than “end of pipe” odor control system alternatives.
