  16. Distance Learning • is an educational process in which a • significant proportion of the teaching is • conducted by someone removed in time • an/or place from the learner, but linked by • various technologies transmitting voice, • video, data, and print information.

Blended Learning • An educational experience created cost-effectively using a mix of integrated distance learning technologies such as videoconferencing, e-learning, videos, and CD-ROM. • A blend will include traditional F2F classroom activities, print materials and other instructional strategies such as action learning, interactivity and case studies.
