  1. Graduate Recruitment: Starting salary: £21,000 – £24,000, depending on qualifications • Wagg is a market leading manufacturer of pet foods in the UK, with exports to over 15 countries. Its two core brands are Wagg and Harringtons sold widely through all the major grocery multiples. We manufacture dog, cat, smaller animal and treat products from 3 factories within the UK • Family owned and managed, this entrepreneurial company is looking to recruit a graduate into its business on an 18mnth to 2 year induction programme. At the end of the period, a decision on preferred location will be agreed between Wagg and the successful candidate • Roles during the initial period of employment to last between 4 and 6 months and include: • Working alongside the head of QA, supporting the core audit and accreditation processes required by BRC or core Customers • Work within production on both the Extruder and Blending lines, reporting directly to the head of production on areas such as process adherence and energy application • Time to be spent supporting Export teams securing certification (with DEFRA) and broader export planning • Social media / marketing and development work with a view to securing an understanding of core brand values • Transport and logistics working around production planning and stock keeping • Are you looking to build a career in a dynamic, entrepreneurial Company? • Profile: A graduate within Food Science, Technology , Mechanical Engineering or Nutrition • Relevant work experience within FMCG helpful • Good computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office • Key qualities: Motivated individual • Strong organisational skills • Team working ability • Analytical and systematic mind • Fluent English, both spoken and written • Job location: Initial job will start at our Thirsk Factory on Dalton Airfield • Next steps: Send a full CV and covering letter to: • simoncollinson@waggfoods.co.uk Find out more about Wagg: Visit www.waggfoods.com and www.harringtonspetfood.com • All applications must be received by: 28th February 2013
